Locian are multi award winning freelance photographers. Work includes commercial contracts, aerial imaging also a focus on people through weddings, portraiture and fine art.

Locian are based on the North Devon/ Cornwall border, however cover all of the UK. If you have projects abroad this is absolutely fine as we regularly travel as far afield as New Zealand and have worked at such prestigious events as the Cannes Film Festival. Based within the International Village  as official photographer/ videographer to the media for the duration of the whole festival.

With a keen eye for detail and love of capturing light, shape, form and beauty we continue to hone our skills, specialising in our own unique style through the study of people and documenting places and nature, lovingly applying a personal touch to all of our artwork. Locian's images are known to be contrasty and evoking whether colour or monochrome. Many forms of photography and genres of image are carefully crafted.

We have a gentle approach yet work tirelessly to achieve with every image both as part of a team or working on solo projects. Our wedding style or method for example is often complimented on achieving so much whilst remaining unobtrusive, maintaining a serious work ethic along with a fun and friendly demeanour.

Looking to the future serious investment has included the acquisition of various aerial platforms & original CAA approval way back in 2016 for aerial photography and filming in the UK. Flying way before most with our own self build crafts!

We frequently collaborate with other creatives including  Short Film Producers, other Photographers, Models, Hair Stylists and Makeup Artists (MUAs)  to produce stunning portraiture and unique artwork.

We pride ourselves in the quality of the art we create and sell, the equipment and tools we use and state categorically "we do NOT USE A.I. in any way, our works is all our own.
